El Tamarindo is probably the most beautiful, romantic resort we have been to. Quiet, lush surroundings, beautiful beach,lovely private pool at our villa, good food, kind, friendly staff, sunsets, candles lit every night surrounding our outside seating and pool area. We splurged for the very expensive ocean front Villa. If you can afford it do it. We are way beyond honeymoon years, but it brings back the sense of honeymoon. If you are looking for action this is not the place. Relax, read, swim, snorkel, dine, connect with you spouse, golf, walk. Enjoy!!
